PUPIL'S CODE OF CONDUCT

School has profound faith in self-discipline as it believes that discipline is essential in all walks of life. It is an integral tool for the development of personality The measures outlined are of 'self-help' variety and serve to inculcate
an awareness in :

1. Dress / Appearance / Turnout

  1. All pupils are expected to be neat and clean and wear the prescribed school uniform.
  2. Shoes need to be well polished.
  3. Use only cream rubber band to girls
  4. Fancy / Ornamental hairdos / clips are not allowed.

2. Behaviour / Deportment / Speech

  1. Students must converse in English during school hours.
  2. Courtesy and politeness will be the hallmark of the pupils, who must greet all staff members, visitors and elders, showing due respect at all times.
  3. Classroom discipline should be maintained.
  4. Pupils must avoid loud talk in and out of classes, and silence in corridors, in the library and laboratories is a must.
  5. Damage to school property will be penalised.
  6. Litter must be put into bins/dustbins and waste paper baskets.

3. Attendance / Leave / Absence

  1. As regular attendance is an important element of education, no leave or absence will be granted except for serious reason.
  2. In case of serious illness the Principal must be informed within five days with a Doctor's Certificate accompanied by the leave application by the parent.
  3. Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than 10 consecutive days renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls. Re-admission, if granted will be done on payment of a fresh admission fee.
  4. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or defiance of authority, lack of sufficient improvement in studies and conduct even after warnings or conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school are sufficient reasons for expulsion of a student.

4. Pupils must note that :

  1. Chewing gum in the campus is prohibited.
  2. Systematic and regular class work, homework, follow up by way of correction, is essential for satisfactory academic performance.
  3. Participation in extra curricular activities / games and sports will help total personality development.
  4. Mobile Phones are strictly prohibited.
