House System

THE HOUSE SYSTEM The school is grouped under four houses, namely Kalam (Blue House), Basu (Green House), Vikram (Red House) and Raman (Yellow House). Each house is directly under the charge of a House Master/Mistress assisted by House Caption and V. Captain. The School considers all perfects as important functionaries in the House. All School competitions in every discipline are organized as inter House, inter class and intra class Activities. This brings in the spirit of healthy competition, so vital to spot talents and excellence. There are individual and team trophies for every such competition.

To provide adequate pastoral care to the students the school has adopted house system. Students from grade I - XII are divided into four houses namely Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow. A captain aided by the cabinet consists of vice captains and prefects under the guidance of a House mistress / master work hand in hand with activity incharge and teacher representatives for different school programs. This association in turn provides a very meaningful co-ordination for various issues concerning the school. On a weekly basis a house conducts the morning assembly and other school celebrations and maintains also school discipline.

A variety of Inter House Activities and competitions are organized and planned at AIPS. The aim is to maximise the students participation thereby giving them stage exposure and vent to their energies. The annual function, sports meet, art & craft exhibition, science exhibition, various projects give every student a platform to exhibit his / her work. This concept instils confidence and decision making in learners. This initiative takes us one step ahead towards our mission of creating successful world citizens.
